- to repel Sihr, Djinns and Syaitans as granted by the Almighty ALLAH swt; for all ages.

The leaves of “bidara”or Sidr are significant in treating spiritual illnesses such as emotional upheaval, disturbance during sleeping,

malicious presence of Djinns, or curses.

Bidara has also been widely known to be used as soap to cleanse jenazah in preparation for burial in Islamic Rituals -

It was also said that Prophet SAW explained that in the process of cleansing the corpse with pure water (Islamic ritual to honour the dead),

one of the cleansing steps process needs to be conducted with a mixture of water and Sidr leaves.

This implies that there is a specific significance of Sidr – and the recognition is uphold due to the fact that it is used to honour and to purify the dead.

Bidara is also mentioned in the Quran as one of the plants present in Allah's Paradise.

Other names of bidara plant includes Sidr, lote tree, cedar or Ziziphus mauritiana
